Two BLA terrorists arrested in Karachi

Two terrorists of Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) were arrested in a joint operation of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and intelligence agencies in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to Sindh CTD spokesperson, 4 kgs of explosives, detonators, prima cards and ball bearings were recovered from the arrested suspects. 

The suspects were providing reconnaissance and information about sensitive installations to the terrorist organization.

The suspects were working on an alleged plan to target law enforcement agencies and sensitive locations.

The arrested persons were identified as Mujahid Baloch, son of Dil Jan, and Farid Baloch, alias Zakir Bin, son of Ijaz Ahmed.

Cases have been registered against the suspects at the CTD police station and further investigation is underway.

More teams have been formed to arrest the alleged facilitators and other associates of the suspects.

Sindh spokesperson says that more important revelations and actions are likely during the investigation.
