Wrong injection claims teen girl’s life in Sargodha
A 14-year-old girl, Aleeza Fatima, breathed her last after receiving a wrong injection at the hands of a quack in Sargodha, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The incident took place at a medical store in Block No 18 in Sargodha.
The mother of the victim girl claimed that her daughter died due to grave negligence by the quack.
In her application to the police, the mother stated that her daughter's health condition became critical during the dressing process.
During treatment, she was administered two injections after which her health deteriorated.
The girl was immediately rushed to the District Headquarters Teaching Hospital (DHQ) where she spent three days on a ventilator.
In her application, the mother of the victim said that an impartial inquiry should be conducted and all the realities should be highlighted.
She urged the relevant officials to take stern action against quacks to avoid such kind of incidents in the future.
She also appealed to file a first information report (FIR) against the responsible persons.
