Punjab, KP chief ministers call on prime minister

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mehmood Khan on Sunday called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at Banigala in Islamabad.
During the meeting, they discussed the COVID-19 situation and development projects in their respective provinces.
According to TV channels, the Punjab CM briefed the PM on the coronavirus situation in the province and the actions being taken by his government for slowing down the virus spread.
According to details, PM Imran Khan had a one-to-one meeting with CM Punjab and asked about the reasons for the rapid spread of the virus in Punjab. The CM stated that the highest number of corona cases is from the main urban cities of Lahore and Rawalpindi therefore the provincial government has laid out plans for implementing smart lockdowns in areas where maximum cases are being reported.
Moreover, the PM was also briefed about the hospital situations across the province. The CM clarified that they have the required amount of facilities and the health care workers are being provided with the required resources.
