Some ruffians snatched a girl going to bazaar with her mother and raped her in the vicinity of Ahmad Yar police station in Arifwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Police on Wednesday registered a case on the complaint of the victim’s father who is a labourer.

According to the father, the girl was going to bazaar with her mother trudging through the fields. Some louts appeared and intercepted them. They snatched the girl and took her with them. They raped her and later let her go.

Police registered the case after the girl’s medical test had established rape.

The victim family demanded of the Punjab IG police and other high-ups to provide justice to them.
