Gaza bleeds again: 42 Palestinians martyred on Eid 

Eid al-Adha began in grief and devastation for Palestinians in Gaza, as Israeli airstrikes and gunfire martyred at least 42 more people on the first day of the Islamic festival.

According to Arab media reports, an Israeli airstrike on Jabalia left 11 civilians dead, further intensifying the humanitarian crisis in the besieged enclave. 

The attacks have plunged the region into even deeper despair at a time traditionally meant for celebration and unity.

Meanwhile, in Khan Younis, four Israeli soldiers were reportedly killed and five others injured in a counterattack launched by Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas. 

The incident reflects the ongoing cycle of violence gripping the region. The toll of the Israeli assault on Gaza continues to rise at an alarming rate.

According to official estimates, a total of 54,677 Palestinians have been martyred in Israel's relentless attacks since the conflict reignited.

The international community remains largely divided, as Gaza’s people suffer even on holy days. Despite calls for a ceasefire and humanitarian relief, bombs continue to fall, replacing the traditional sounds of Eid celebration with sorrow and sirens.
