Bugti announces civil award for ward boy who helped acid attack victim in Quetta

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has announced a civil award for ward boy Abdul Razzaq Tarkai in recognition of his bravery and swift response during the recent acid attack on a female doctor in Quetta, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.

In a statement, the chief minister said Abdul Razzaq risked his own safety to provide immediate assistance to Dr Mah Noor after she came under attack, describing his actions as an example of courage, humanity, and professional commitment.

“Brave and dutiful individuals are a source of pride for the nation,” Bugti said, adding that Abdul Razzaq's courage would be acknowledged at the national level.

The chief minister said the ward boy's timely intervention helped save the victim and demonstrated the highest standards of compassion and responsibility in a critical situation.
