Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President Chaudhry Shujat Hussain on Saturday called Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman over the phone and asked him not to open a new front in the country at this time.
Shujat, a former prime minister, said: “We should not open new fronts in the country at this time. The country needs your guidance in difficult times it is passing through right now. You are son of a great father and great leader who participated in movements to strengthen the country.”
“You often refer to Amanat Ali and Salamat Ali in your speeches; we will talk about them in detail when I visit Islamabad and find a solution to this issue as well. The nation has entrusted us this country therefore we should make collective efforts to get people’s problems solved,” Shujat told Fazl.
