While rejecting the objection raised by the registrar office, the Lahore High Court on Monday ordered to fix the petition of senator-elect Ishaq Dar for hearing, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Former finance minister and PML-N leader Ishaq Dar who is currently staying in England for his medical treatment approached the Lahore High Court after rejection of his plea by Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani to take oath to his seat by video link.
But the registrar office raised objection over his petition saying that the petition was not attested by the foreign office.
However, the LHC rejected the objection of the registrar office and directed to fix the petition for hearing.
Justice Muzammil Akhtar Shabbir who heard the case said that the judicial side would decide about the admissibility of the petition.
