Pakistan reports 756 new coronavirus cases with 7 deaths

Pakistan reported 756 new coronavirus cases along with 7 virus-related deaths during the last 24 hours (Sunday), showed the data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Monday morning.
According to the statistics released by NCOC, after the addition of 7 new deaths, the toll has now surged to 30,272, which represents a ratio of 2.0 percent.
The positivity ratio of the coronavirus cases in Pakistan reaches 2.01 percent, as 756 new coronavirus cases emerged in the last 24 hours after conducting 37,518 tests. It takes the total cases tally to 1,515,014.

The number of active cases in the country is 29,580 with 826 patients in critical condition.
There were 780 more recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours as the number of total recovered cases reached 1,455,162 with a 96% recovery rate.
Punjab, the most populous province of the country, has reported 223 new cases in the last 24 hours, taking the provincial tally to 502,844 with 3,556 active cases. In Punjab, 6 more patients died of coronavirus as the death toll reached 13,526. With 305 new recoveries reported, 485,762 patients have recovered from the virus in Punjab so far.
Sindh has recorded 283 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the provincial tally to 570,261 with 22,689 active cases. There were no new death reported related to the deadly disease as the death toll in Sindh remained 8,085. With 281 new recoveries, 539,487 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recorded 204 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 217,187 with 2,389 active cases. The province reported no new virus-related death as the death toll remained 6,288. With 120 new recoveries, 208,510 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Balochistan recorded 8 new cases as the tally reached 35,388 with 69 active cases. The province reported no new death as the death toll remained 376. With 1 new recovery, 34,943 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Islamabad has recorded 23 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 134,643 with 463 active cases. With 1 new death reported in the Federal Capital, the death toll reached 1,018. With 57 new recoveries, the number of recovered patients is 133,162 in the federal capital so far.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir
Azad Jammu and Kashmir recorded 8 new cases during the last 24 hours as the tally reached 43,114 with 251 active cases. With no new deaths reported, the death toll remained 788. There were 16 new recoveries in the AJK as 42,075 patients have recovered so far from the virus.
Gilgit-Baltistan recorded 7 new cases during the last 24 hours, as the tally reached 11,577 with 163 active cases. With no new death reported in the province, the death toll remains at 191. With no new patients recovered, the number of patients recovered from the deadly disease reached 11,223.
