Shehbaz, Fazl meet Zardari as country’s political temperature climbs up

Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) head Maulana Fazlur Rehman Monday called on Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Matters relating to the current political situation in the country, especially no-confidence motion against the prime minister, came under discussion.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and the former premiers — Yousaf Raza Gillani and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi — were present in the meeting.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders including Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Sanaullah, Khawaja Asif, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Saad Rafique, and Marriyum Aurangzeb attended the meeting.

PPP leaders including Syed Khursheed Shah, Syed Naveed Qamar, and Murtaza Wahab also attended the meeting.
