Sadia Imam's daughter skips fast for live Naat recitation, Netizens react
Former Pakistani actress Sadia Imam and her daughter Meerab appeared at a private TV channel's Ramadan transmission where Meerab recited a beautiful Naat, but Sadia's statement left the public disappointed
Sadia told the audience that Meerab had skipped her fast to recite Naat in the show.
“Meerab will recite Naat today as she has skipped her fast because of live Naat recitation. She will present this Naat as a Hadiya (gift) to the current Imam”.
Social media users raised concerns that why Meerab skipped fast as its mandatory while she would recite Naat while keeping her fast.
A user wrote, “She has left her important religious worship for a Naat, and here the religious cleric is praising her for that. This should not be acceptable”.
Another Facebook user commented, “A Hadya to the Imam of current times, but after skipping the fast?".
A fan asked, “What is the logic behind not fasting for Naat recitation?!”
One fan stated, “Wow! Naat’s recitation on TV is so important that she skipped her obligatory worship?”
Another user wrote, “Tomorrow, the same kid will be acting in dramas.”

Sadia Imam is married to chef and businessman Adnan Haider, and they are blessed with an adorable daughter Meerab.
Sadia Imam is a devoted mother who chose to stay in Pakistan to raise her daughter in a traditional Pakistani environment.
