Astounding hike of Rs153.44 per liter announced in price of jet fuel

The price of jet fuel took a giant leap on Saturday when the government increased its price by Rs153.44 per liter, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Following the increase, the price of each liter of GP1 fuel has risen from Rs188.93 to Rs342.37.

Experts have said that record 82 per cent hike in the price of jet fuel has been announced.

They have said that the increase will eventually lead to an extraordinary raise in the price of an air ticket.
