Several Gulf-bound flights cancelled at Lahore and Faisalabad airports
A number of flights of different airlines, which were scheduled to depart for Kuwait, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha from Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) Lahore and Faisalabad airport, were cancelled on Saturday due to the Middle East conflict, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Six flights from Faisalabad and 26 flights from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore were cancelled.
The flights that were cancelled from Lahore include:
An Air Sial flight PF-796, was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to take off from Lahore for Abu Dhabi.
Another Air Sial flight, PF-797, was also cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land at Abu Dhabi Airport from Lahore.
An Airblue flight, PA-410, was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to take off for Dubai from Lahore.
A Qatar Airways flight QR-620 was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, from Doha.
Another Qatar Airways flight, QR-621, was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to reach Doha from Lahore.
An Etihad Airways flight EY-285 was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to take off from Lahore for Abu Dhabi.
An Emirates Airlines light EK-625 flight was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land at Dubai airport from Lahore.
A Kuwait Airways flight, KU-02, was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to depart from Karachi for Kuwait.
An Airblue flight, PA-412, was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land at Sharjah Airport from Lahore.
Six flights fail to depart from Faisalabad
A two-way flight of Flydubai FZ/391 and FZ.292 was cancelled. The flight was destined for Dubai from Faisalabad.
Another two-way flight No. G9 562/563 were cancelled. These flights were scheduled to land at Sharjah airport from Lahore.
A Flydubai flight, FZ-355 and FZ-356, were cancelled. These flights were scheduled to depart for Dubai from Faisalabad.
The airport officials advised passengers to contact the Airport Call Center before arriving.
