An allegedly drunk police official rumbling thoughtlessly was removed from his poll duty at UC 11 in Hyderabad by his colleagues on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

SSP Amjad Shaikh took notice of the incident and suspended the official and ordered him to undergo a medical test.

As per details, after coming on duty, the allegedly tipsy officer Azam was sleeping. When his fellow cops woke him up, he started raising a din. His colleagues picked him up and took him outside the polling station. Then they made him sit in the car and asked him to go.

Azam is said to have been deployed at the GOR police station.
