Iran, Pakistan agree to build joint border markets, barter rice

Pakistan and Iran on Sunday principally agreed to build the joint markets on the border and trade the rice on a barter basis.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, a joint trade committee meeting of Pakistan and Iran authorities was held on Sunday.
In the meeting, both sides’ advisors made an agreement to trade rice on barter bases and build border markets.
The sources said that an agreement was also reached on the transportation of Pakistani trucks and customs cooperation under the TIR.
After the agreement, it was being expected that such measures would increase Pakistani exports and trade.
