Govt employees to stage sit-in before Parliament House on Nov 08

Federal government employees will hold a sit-in at the front of Parliament House in Islamabad on Tuesday, November 08 for an indefinite period. 
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the All Government Employees Grand Alliance (AGEGA) Chief Coordinator Rehman Bajwa announced on Monday that civil servants will be gathered outside the parliament at 10 am.
Regarding the sit-in, the alliance also issued a declaration after the coalition organizations’ meeting held in Islamabad which stated that government employees from all provinces will participate in the protest.   
The declaration said that a deadlock continued in the negotiation with the federal government so they will maintain the call for the November 8 Parliament House sit-in as previously announced.
Rehman Bajwa said that it has been decided, in this sit-in, all government employees will participate in caravans under the leadership of the leaders of the four provinces including Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, while all federal organizations and associations will participate in the sit-in.
Lady health workers and 16,000 engineers will participate in the sit-in with logistical support, the AGEGA chief said adding that the employees of National Savings, the PWD organization, the CDA labor union, and all organizations of the Federal Directorate of Education will participate in the sit-in. 
Rehman Bajwa announced that there will be no compromise on rights of the government employees. He urged the government to accept their all demands including raising the salary of grade one to 16 employees.
