Druggy kills rehab centre’s ward boy who tried to restrain him from going outside

A drug addict killed a ward boy at a drug rehabilitation centre in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Police registered a murder case against accused Hammad who fled the centre after killing the ward boy.

According to police, Hammad was addicted to crystal methamphetamine commonly known as ice. His family admitted him to a drug rehab centre situation in PWD Colony in the vicinity of Lohi Bhir against his will.

On the day of the incident, he wanted to go outside, but ward boy Mudassar tried to restrain him.

Fumed by the ward boy’s attempt, the junkie put a noose around his neck and strangled him to death.

After murdering the poor ward boy, the druggy escaped from the clinic.

Police are raiding different places to arrest the accused. They shifted Mudassar's body to PIMS Hospital for post-mortem.
