May 9 riots: Raid at house of Hamid Nasir Chathta’s son
Local police raided the house of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf member Ahmad Nasir Chattha, the son of former National Assembly speaker Hamid Nasir.
He is wanted by police in connection with the May 9 incidents.
The police conducted the raid as his bail was revoked earlier in the day.
Sources said, no one was present at the house when police raided.
On May 9, PTI activists took to the streets to vent their spleen over the arrest of party chief Imran Khan in a corruption case.
Angry protesters damaged public property, state assets and sensitive institutions.
Mobsters stormed GHQ in Rawalpindi, Jinnah House in Lahore and Radio Pakistan in Peshawar.
Innocent people lost their lives and the riots left a trail of devastation.
