Agenda of Pakistan-Oman Joint Ministerial Commission meeting finalised
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Friday chaired an inter-ministerial meeting, which finalized the agenda of the 8th meeting of the Pakistan-Oman Joint Ministerial Commission.
The meeting reviewed all important areas of bilateral cooperation and Dar underlined the need for strengthening Pak-Oman relations. He said that special attention should be paid to trade, investment, energy and maritime cooperation.
The deputy prime minister said there was a need to increase manpower export opportunities. He laid emphasis on accelerating implementation of MoUs in key sectors and boosting cooperation in education, logistics and consular affairs.
The two sides agreed on joint efforts to increase exports and employment opportunities. The meeting was attended by Tariq Bajwa, secretaries, Pakistani ambassador to Oman and senior officials.
