Bollywood couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have officially entered parenthood.
The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on Friday and shared the news with fans via social media.
Taking to Instagram, Katrina and Vicky wrote: “Our bundle of joy has arrived. With immense gratitude, we welcome our baby boy. 7th November, 2025.”
The announcement was accompanied by a tender photograph of Vicky lovingly caressing Katrina’s baby bump, capturing the emotional essence of their journey into parenthood.
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in Rajasthan in December 2021 and have since been one of Bollywood’s most adored pairs.
Their joint statement read: “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude.”
Speculation around Katrina’s pregnancy had been swirling for months.
The couple confirmed the news on September 23, posting a photo with the caption: “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude.”
Fans had earlier picked up on subtle hints, including a fan-made post showing baby footprints alongside the couple’s, and a cryptic birthday message from Sunny Kaushal, Vicky’s brother, who said: “Thank you. The best thing is coming very very soon.”
At 42, Katrina’s embrace of motherhood has inspired many, especially given her past reflections on parenting.
In a 2019 interview with Filmfare, she expressed her desire for her future children to grow up with both parents, emphasizing the importance of a nurturing father figure.
Their fellow celebs and fans flocked to the comments section to express their happiness and extend their greetings.
