PHF announces national junior hockey team for Sultan of Johor Cup

Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) announced national junior hockey team for Sultan of Johor hockey tournament on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. The team was announced after the approval of PHF President Tariq Bugti, starting from the goalkeepers included in the squad are, Ali Raza and Muhammad Faizan Janjua, the players named in the squad are, Muhammad Sufyan, Muhammad Wasim, Samiullah, Muhammad Nadeem Khan, Zakaria Hayat are included. 

According to the announcement, Aqeel Ahmed, Muhammad Imad, Abdul Hanan Shahid, Ali Murtaza, Rana Muhammad Walid Ashraf, Hamza Fayyaz, Abdul Qayyum, Muhammad Usman, Ashraf, Basharat Ali and Muhammad Shaheer are also part of the team.Yasir Sanawar and Muhammad Hassan are included as the reserve players.

The Pakistan Junior Hockey Team will play its first match against Malaysia on October 11, while in second match will be against Great Britain on October 12 and the third match will be against arch-rivals India on October 14. The fourth match will be against New Zealand on October 15 while the fifth match will be against Australia on October 17.

The team officials will be Kamran Ashraf (Head Coach), Yasir Islam, Muhammad Azfar Yaqoob (Assistant Coaches), Syed Abu Zar Amrao (Video Analyst), Adeel Akhtar (Physiotherapy).
