A grand rally was organized by Sunni Tehreek in Kalat on the eve of Defence Day and to mark Tahafuz-e-Namus-i-Sahaba, reported 24NewsTV channel on Monday.

Chairman of Sunni Tehreek Balochistan (Ulema Board) Allama Hassan Saeedi led the rally and reached Shaheed Nowruz Khan Chowk where another large gathering joined his rally.

Speakers addressing the massive crowd said insult of the Companions of the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) will not be tolerated in any case. They said the government should set a precedent by arresting those who insulted the Companions of last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW).

The Pakistani nation will never forget those who sacrificed their lives for the country on September 6, 1965, the speakers said. The Sunni Tehreek leader vowed that they will not spare any sacrifice for the sake of the defence of the country and the protection of Sahaba.
