In view of the destruction caused by rains and floods, the Sindh government on Wednesday banned the purchase of new vehicles in all state departments and institutions for an indefinite period, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A notification, a copy of which was obtained by 24NewsHD TV channel, had also been issued in this regard after the approval of Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.

The Services, General Administration and Coordination Department sent the notification to all the government departments.

Unnecessary expenses were banned in view of the destruction caused by recent rains and floods in the province.
