Flour prices surge from Rs1500 to Rs2700 in KP

Flour supply from Punjab to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been cut off, leading to an increase in flour prices, as a 20 kg bag of flour that used to sell for Rs1,500 has now been sold for Rs2,700, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Citizens and shopkeepers complained that flour dealers also created an artificial crisis by filling the warehouses.
'Administration should take action against the warehouses of profit-seeking flour dealers,' citizens demanded.
