Mian Akram Usman named as PTI Lahore president

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has removed Sheikh Imtiaz Mahmood from his position as city president and appointed Mian Akram Usman as his successor, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday. 

According to an official notification issued by PTI Central Punjab President Ahmed Chattha, the decision was made on the instructions of the party’s founder.

The notification confirmed that Mian Akram Usman has been entrusted with the responsibility of reorganizing PTI’s Lahore chapter, which has been facing internal challenges in recent months.

Party sources said the reshuffle aimed to inject fresh energy into PTI’s Lahore wing and strengthen the party’s grassroots presence ahead of upcoming political campaigns.

Usman, the son of former MNA late Mian Usman, is expected to lead efforts to mobilize workers and restructure local party units in the provincial capital.
