Resolution presented in Sindh Assembly seeking financial protection for teachers

A resolution was presented in the Sindh Assembly by MPA Sajjad Ali Soomro on Monday, seeking a comprehensive group insurance for all government teachers in the province, reported 24NewsHD TV.

The resolution called for a transparent and effective insurance scheme to ensure financial protection for government teachers and the families of those who die during service.

The resolution urged the Sindh government to introduce a group insurance scheme for teachers and immediately take measures in this regard.

It also called for ensuring timely and transparent payment of the insurance amount to the legal heirs of the teachers who die during service.

Soomro said that teachers are the builders of the nation and protecting their future and providing financial security to their families is the responsibility of the government.
