Court re-issues arrest warrants against Malaika Arora in hotel brawl case involving Saif Ali Khan

A Mumbai Court has re-issued bailable arrest warrants against Bollywood star Malaika Arora for failing to appear as a witness in the case related to the alleged assault on an NRI businessman by fellow star Saif Ali Khan at a five-star hotel in 2012.

The court previously issued the arrest warrants against the actress on February 15, 2012.

The next hearing of the court will be held on April 29, 2025.

The assault broke out when Saif Ali Khan was having the time of life with his wife Kareena Kapoor, her sister Karisma Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora, and some other male friends at the hotel and as per the report by police, Mir Sharma objected to the loud conversation by them.

Saif Ali Khan, in response, threatened them allegedly and even punched Sharma in the nose which caused a fracture.

 The NRI businessman also accused Saif Ali Khan and his friends of attacking on his father-in-law Raman Patel.

In contrast, Saif Ali Khan claimed that it was Sharma’s provocative statements against his friends and females at the hotel which prompted the whole scene there.

The actor Saif Ali Khan and two other accused were arrested after the complaint filed by the businessman - Iqbal Mir Sharma: however, the trio latter was released on bail.
