The traffic wardens in Lahore were barred from using mini Bluetooth printers over ‘minting’ money through fake challans, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday citing police sources.

The DIG traffic banned the use of mini Bluetooth printers by the traffic wardens.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Headquarters Rifat Haider Bukhari sent a letter to all the chief traffic officers (CTOs), asking them to send the certificates about the return of mini Bluetooth printers by the traffic wardens.

“In the future, departmental action will be taken against the traffic wardens for using mini Bluetooth devices,” the letter warned.

It is to be noted here that the E-Challenging System was launched to eradicate corruption.
