Backlog of pending cases continue to rise again in SC

The backlog of pending cases continue to rise again in Supreme Court of Pakistan as pending litigations record touched 57153 in the apex court, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

According to details, when Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi took office, there were about 60,000 cases pending. The number of cases decreased to 55,000 in March 2025. However, now the number of pending cases increased during the summer vacations.
