PTI leader Asad Qaiser meets Zubair, Chairman PAC Junaid Akbar

PTI MNA and former Speaker National Assembly, Asad Qaiser, met with former governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair and Junaid Akbar, Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

During the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the country's political situation and the sugar scandal. Muhammad Zubair congratulated Asad Qaiser on the successful All Parties Conference (APC). They agreed to make the Movement for the Protection of the Constitution of Pakistan more effective.

During the meeting Junaid Akbar briefed Asad Qaiser on the sugar scandal and told that 67 mills have exported sugar worth $400 million, and the sugar mills made a profit of around Rs300 billion from the export. Asad Qaiser said that the corruption scandals are increasing day by day and there is no action or independent investigation into them. The corruption of the Government has weakened the economy.

There should be an independent investigation into financial scandals, demanded by the meeting unitedly. Muhammad Zubair said that the fascist attitude of the government is sad and the courts have also been compromised.

The leaders of PTI were convicted in fake cases and were de-seated. Asad Qaiser said that the chairman of the Election Commission is on extension from last 6 months and is involved in breaking the constitution.

Zubair also condemned the disqualification of PTI leaders. He said that the speed at which Umer Ayub, Shibli Faraz and Hamid Raza were disqualified is condemnable. Asad Qaiser said that the situation of the country would have been different if the same speed had also been shown in the sugar scandal.
