18 teachers in Pishin face legal action for spearding false news on social media

The Education Department has issued show-cause notices to 18 teachers in Pishin district, accusing them of spreading false information on social media aimed at defaming departmental officers, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Sunday.

According to the notification, the alleged fake news was intended to tarnish the reputation of senior education officials. 

The notice, issued by the Director of Education, directs the accused teachers to submit their responses within seven days.

The notification also warned that failure to respond within the stipulated time would be considered an admission of guilt.

This move has stirred discussions among local educators and the community, highlighting tensions between the department and teaching staff.
