Crackdown on social media provocateurs continues: 7 more FIRs registered

Authorities have intensified legal actions against individuals accused of spreading provocative content and fake news on social media, registering FIRs against seven more suspects, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Sunday.

Sources disclosed that the suspects—identified as Muhammad Usama Umar Farooq, Ghulam Akbar, Muhammad Abu Bakar, Ali Shan, Muhammad Shaukat, Mian Muhammad Imran, and Muhammad Bilal—are all residents of Muzaffargarh district.

This development comes after similar cases were filed against 32 suspects in previous crackdowns. 

Officials have stated that strict legal action is being taken against all individuals involved in spreading misinformation and inciting unrest on social media platforms.
