Fazl urges JUI workers to get ready for Islamabad march 

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has warned the government that conspiracies against seminaries will not succeed and Ulema will achieve their goal at all cost, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Addressing a public rally in Peshawar on Sunday, Fazl claimed that JUI will not compromise on the national ideology, adding that JUI will continue to protect the ideology of the country. 

Fazl urged the religious workers to get ready for Islamabad march, adding that JUI will soon give a protest call. He made it clear that the government has no courage to challenge their march. He made it clear that JUI will not compromise on Islamic principles. He flayed the government for trying to create rift among Ulema. 

Fazl said during talks with the government it was agreed that religious madrasas will be affiliated with the Ministry of Education and till matriculation education will be provided to seminary students. 

Talking about 26th Constitutional Amendments, Fazlur Rehman said that the amendments were disastrous, adding that if the all of the amendments would have been passed it would have be catastrophic for the country. He claimed that JUI managed to remove 34 sections of the amendments. 

JUI chief said that the proposed amendments of the government would have destroyed the constitution and the parliament but JUI managed it successfully and forced the government to remove all contradictory sections. 

Talking about Gaza genocide, JUI pledged that they will always stand with Palestinians in their jehad against Israel. He said human rights are being crumbled in Palestine and Israeli was bombarding women and children in Gaza and Lebanon. He lamented Pakistani government was not standing with Palestinians.
