Daniyal Chaudhry says nation stands with army, rejects ‘divisive narrative’

Barrister Daniyal Chaudhry Monday said the people of Rawalpindi had come out in large numbers to express solidarity with the Pakistan Army, stressing that the nation remains united behind its defenders, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Speaking to reporters, Chaudhry said the armed forces were sacrificing their lives on the borders for the security of the country, and those speaking against state institutions “are not the well-wishers of Pakistan.”

He criticised what he described as a growing culture of abuse and division in national politics.

Chaudhry accused a political party of advocating negotiations with terrorists, saying talks could not be held with those who harm the country or weaken its stability.

He alleged that the party was “facilitating terrorists” to conceal its own failures and had spent years “instilling hatred and chaos” among the youth.

He said the public had already rejected the PTI founder’s narrative in recent elections and would refute it “brick by brick.”

Chaudhry also blamed the PTI’s 13-year rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for what he called administrative and security failures in the province.

He said the country’s enemies seek unrest, but the nation stands firmly with the armed forces, their martyrs, and their families.

“Pakistan’s forces are the guarantee of our security and stability,” he said, adding that the military had given a strong response to Indian aggression.

Chaudhry said Pakistan would continue to move forward and achieve progress with unity and support for state institutions.
