Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Chairman Fazlur Rehman has said that clowns are running the government and an incompetent man is the prime minister of Pakistan.
Fazl, who visited the residence of former prime minister, late Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, in Karachi to offer condolences to his family, told the media that he was not sure whose stance on Kashmir was correct: Imran Khan’s or Foreign Ministry’s. He said the presidential ordinance on Senate elections through open ballot was mala fide. He said that prime minister’s speech in Muzaffarabad on Kashmir Solidarity Day negated Pakistan’s stance on the Kashmir dispute.
Fazl said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) came into power through a bogus mandate and the PDM would not let it win a majority in the parliament. He said the PDM had told the prime minister to resign and now it would decide how the prime minister would be sent home. He said it appeared that PTI lawmakers did not want to vote for their own party in the upcoming Senate elections. He said he feared the Senate elections would be a repeat of the 2018 General Elections.
Fazl, who would address a PDM public meeting in Hyderabad on February 9, said that former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali was a wise man and had a unique status in the national politics. He said that Jamali’s services would be remembered for a long time.
