Prime suspect of Dua Mangi abduction has links with banned outfit

The security agencies have sprung into action after investigators pointed out that Zohaib Ali Qureshi, the prime accused of two high-profile kidnappings in 2019, fled the country and has links with banned outfits.
According to 24NewsHD TV channel, Zohaib Ali Qureshi sneaked into a neighboring state via Balochistan and he had links with banned BLA and SRA. The lawmen nailed accomplices and fascinators started grilling them.
Security agencies are on high alert after reports that Zohaib Ali Qureshi, the main accused in the abduction case, fled the country via Balochistan. The investigators found the accused has links with the banned BLA and SRA.
Last month, policepersons faced legal actions on charges of sheer negligence and letting Qureshi flee from a Shopping Mall after a court hearing.
Zohaib Ali Qureshi was the prime suspect of kidnapping for ransom blogger Bisma Saleem and law student Dua Mangi in 2019. Bisma was abducted from DHA on May 12, 2019, and freed after paying the ransom.
Four gunmen kidnaped a law student, Dua from the Bukhari Commercial area of the DHA on November 30, 2019, and let her go home after the payment of the ransom. Police arrested Qureshi along with another accused, Muzaffar alias Moozi, on March 19, 2020, in connection with the kidnappings. An anti-terrorism court indicted him and four others in the kidnapping cases in January 2021.
