Very significant progress has been made in the backdoor contacts between the Nawaz League and the Q League, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Tuesday.
According to the sources, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) President and Opposition Leader in National Assembly Mian Shahbaz Sharif is expected to meet the Chaudhry brothers this week.
Some key leaders of both the parties—the PML-N and the PML-Q are playing their role in this regard.
The sources said PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif is planning to visit the residence of former premier Chaudhry Shujat Hussain to inquire his health.
Pertinent to mention here that the PML-N Central Executive Committee has already authorized Mian Shahbaz Sharif to liaise with political parties and personalities.
Earlier today, a delegation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) comprising of Aamir Khan and Wasim Akhtar held a special meeting with the Chaudhry brothers and Shehbaz Sharif separately.
The MQM delegation discussed a working relationship with Shehbaz Sharif and Chaudhary Bothers.
