Margalla Police Station on Wednesday received a call on 15 that another woman was raped in F9 Park, however, when police reached the park, no such incident had happened, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Upon receiving the call, a heavy contingent of police rushed to the F9 Park. Sources said the phone call later proved a hoax call. 

Police conducted a search operation in the park, the caller’s number was not responding. A search operation was conducted under the supervision of SHO Naeemul Hassan. Police said the number will be traced and action will be taken against the fake caller. 

Police will also investigate the motives behind making a fake call. 

Meanwhile, Inspector General of Islamabad Police, taking notice of the incident, has sought a report in this regard.
