Hindu right-wing leader threatens Bollywood over Atif Aslam’s comeback
Music sensation Atif Aslam has returned to Bollywood after seven years.
On this news, various Indian media agencies like India Today reported that Ameya Khopkar, an Indian producer as well as the President of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) cinema wing, stated that anyone planning to integrate Aslam in their films based on a court order should be informed of their position and reconsider their decision.
He stated:
“Pakistani artists will not be tolerated here.Never. It's bad that we have to repeat ourselves, but let me be clear once more."

He even went as far as challenging Indian industries to include Pakistani artists in their projects, warning them not to make the mistake of accepting the challenge.
“A word of caution: DO NOT accept this challenge.”
It's unfortunate to see such tensions arise in the entertainment industry.
On this threat, netizens lambasted the Indian producer for being terrified of such a talented singer and for having dual standards in which he does not want Pakistanis in their nation while yet copying their songs and content.
However, Atif has lent his vocals to a romantic melody for the upcoming film 'Love Story of 90s'.
Earlier, the producers, Haresh and Dharmesh Sangani, expressed their delight at having him on board, calling it a "moment of pride and joy."
