Tara Sutaria chooses mental peace amid breakup rumors with Veer Pahariya
Tara Sutaria has spoken candidly about safeguarding her mental well-being amid constant speculation, online negativity, and persistent rumours surrounding her personal life.

In recent months, the actor has found herself making headlines more for her private affairs than her professional projects.

Tara was reportedly dating fellow Bollywood figure Veer Pahariya, though the pair never officially confirmed their relationship. Similarly, reports about their alleged breakup have remained speculative, with neither party addressing the claims directly.

While stopping short of responding to the rumours in a recent interview, Tara chose instead to focus on the importance of inner calm and emotional boundaries.
Speaking to Elle India, she reflected on navigating a public career while preserving her sense of self, explaining that over time she has learned how to protect her mental peace.

She described her personal definition of success, saying, “I’ve always believed success is internal. Peace of mind, a handful of people who love you, knowing yourself, that’s always been the goal….I’ve chosen my values over work, multiple times. But I would rather lose a film than lose myself.”

Acknowledging that actors are frequently subjected to speculation about both their professional and personal lives, Tara said she has never felt compelled to publicly clarify rumours.
“As long as I know the truth, and the people closest to me do, that’s enough,” she added.

Tara and Veer were first linked in 2025 after being spotted together on multiple occasions. Around the same time, Tara also addressed online trolling after she was criticised for dancing on stage with singer AP Dhillon during one of his concerts. As memes and commentary circulated online, Tara suggested the backlash was driven by a paid PR campaign.

She wrote on Instagram, “P.S - False narratives, clever editing and paid PR campaigns by folks won’t and don’t shake us up! In the end, love and the truth always wins. So the joke’s on the bullies.”

AP Dhillon responded to her post with, “Queen.” Veer also showed support, commenting, “Unreal” followed by a red heart and fire emojis.

However, shortly after this exchange, reports emerged claiming Tara and Veer had parted ways. Neither has commented on the rumoured split so far.

On the professional front, Tara is awaiting the release of her upcoming film Toxic. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the Kannada-English bilingual project stars Yash in the lead role and features an ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Kiara Advani, and Rukmini Vasanth. The film is slated for a theatrical release on March 19.
