Wifaq-ul-Madaris al-Arabia condemns Islamabad imambargh suicide attack

Office-bearers of Wifaq-ul-Madaris al-Arabia Pakistan (WMAP) on Saturday termed the suicide blast at an imambargah in Islamabad unfortunate and condemnable, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

In a statement, WMAP President Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani, Senior Vice President Maulana Anwarul Haq, Nazim-e-Aala Maulana Muhammad Hanif Jalandri and others said that Islam does not allow the killings of innocent men, women and children, and those who carried out attacks at mosques, imambargahs and seminaries did not deserve to be called human beings.

They further said that such acts of terrorism were aimed at destabilizing Pakistan.

They demanded that those who masterminded and facilitated the attack should be brought to justice.

WMAP office-bearers also demanded that foolproof security be provided to all mosques, imambargahs and seminaries in the country.
