A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) transport aircraft successfully dropped relief goods in the flood-hit areas of Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV on Saturday.
A PAF statement said the aircraft carried a load of 77,860 pounds of relief goods to the flood affected areas.
The relief items delivered by aircraft included rations, tents, food, medicine, drinking water, blankets and essential machinery.
Despite the bad weather across the country and especially in the flood-affected areas, PAF pilots were using all their capabilities to meet the expectations of the nation during this difficult time.
Chief of the Pakistan Air Force Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu has directed the concerned branches of PAF to do their utmost efforts for the relief and rescue work of the flood victims in Balochistan.
The PAF has also deployed its helicopters in flood-affected areas as part of the Pakistan Army Aviation and Navy's helicopter fleet.
