Rejection ratio of UAE visa for Pakistanis soars to 99pc

Pakistani travellers who wanted to travel to United Arab Emirates (UAE) on visit visa, work visa and business visa are facing lot of difficulties as rejected visas ratio reached to 99 percent, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to details, after strict restrictions announced by UAE government marginal decrease being witnessed in issuance of visas for Pakistani.

Travel Agents Association of Pakistan (TAAP) also expressed their serious concerns over the recent situation arising after the rejection ratio was increased.

Member of Executive Board of TAAP Sadiq Sabir said that government of UAE issued new procedure for UAE visit visa which includes Rs1 million bank statement with confirm air-ticket and hotel booking made mandatory.

It is necessary to mention here that the applicant have to bear loss of ranging from 1500 UAE dirhams to 2,000 dirhams in case rejection.
