Nine Dadu cops jailed for murdering youth in fake encounter

Additional Sessions Judge of Model Criminal Trial Court in Dadu on Thursday awarded seven years of imprisonment to nine police officials in a case relating to murder of a youth in fake police encounter in Dadu, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

First Additional Sessions Judge Model Criminal Trial Court Hassan Ali Kalwar announced the verdict 

Nine police personnel including Inspector Noor Mustafa Pathan convicted of murder sentenced to 7 years in prison and a fine of Rs1 million. 

ASI Ghulam Qadir Gopang, ASI Nazir Panhor, Dost Ali, Abdul Sattar, Ghulam Mustafa, Allah Bachaeo and Imran Ali sentenced to 7 years in prison and a fine of Rs100,000 each. 

The murder case was registered at B-Section Police Station under case No. 2022/97. 

A case was registered on the complaint of the victim's mother Mumtaz Begum Dhanhiyal. 

The police personnel had allegedly killed the youth by showing a fake encounter. 

All the convicted accused fled the court after the court verdict was pronounced 

It has been learned from judicial sources that the court has ordered the immediate arrest of the accused
