Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has telephoned Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday and discussed the possible points of discussion during the All Parties Conference (APC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Both the leaders also discussed the agenda and the date for the APC.
Bilawal Bhutto also inquired about the health of the PML-N president and expressed good wishes and his early recovery.
The PML-N president also expressed his good wishes for the health of former president Asif Ali Zardari.
The Opposition parties are mulling an All Parties Conference on the incumbent political and economic situation of the country.
There were reports in the media earlier that Shehbaz Sharif was not interested in the APC and that was why he was not contacting the PPP leader to finalise the APC.
But Wednesday’s phone call has quashed all such rumours and it also cleared the way for holding the APC.
