CM Buzdar suspends six officers in DG Khan over complaints

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on his visit to the Dera Ghazi Khan (DG Khan) on Thursday suspended six officials for negligence in the provision of facilities to the people, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sardar Usman Buzdar removed these officers over public complaints and said that stern action would be taken against officers who would not perform.
On the direction of Chief Minister Usman Bazdar, Director Anti-Corruption DG Khan Hafiz Ahmed Tariq and XEN Highway DG Khan Gulfam Iqbal, MS Teaching Hospital DG Khan Dr Athar Farooq, Superintendent Central Jail DG Khan Yasir Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue (ADCR) Muzaffargarh Imran Shams and Tehsildar Aftab Iqbal were removed from their posts.
The chief minister said that there is no place for officers in Punjab who cannot respond to public complaints within reasonable time and warned that he will take strict action against officials who are not performing their respective duties.
Usman Buzdar further said that no negligence in official duties will be tolerated. He urged officers to mend their ways otherwise government will take strict action.
