Even the darkest night will end, says Saba Qamar
Saba Qamar has opened up about finding inner peace and renewed hope through the Fajr prayer, urging her fans and followers to embrace the spiritual power of early morning worship.
Taking to Instagram, she shared a heartfelt message reflecting on its transformative energy, saying: “Fajr teaches you that even the darkest night will end and a new light will rise both outside and within.”
Recently, the 41-year-old star came into the spotlight when clips of her and fellow actress Salma Zafar enjoying a live qawwali performance went viral.
The footage show Saba Qamar fully immersed in the rhythm, gracefully swirling in a trance-like state as the music builds.
Calling it a ‘beautiful day,’ Saba shared the moments on Instagram, while Salma Zafar affectionately referred to her as a daughter. The heartfelt exchange and contrasting energies of the two stars struck a chord with fans.
“It was such a pleasure to meet you and get to know you. You truly have a wonderful personality – so humble and full of grace,” Salma wrote in praise of Saba.
“Your beautiful soul… I feel lucky to have connected with someone like you. Like a daughter, you’ve already found a special place in my heart,” she added.
Saba replied: “Love you! Maa.”
Saba Qamar began her career in 2005 with Main Aurat Hoon and rose to fame through hit serials like Jinnah Ke Naam, Dastaan, Uraan, Maat, Digest Writer, Sangat, Besharam, Cheekh, and Baaghi.
She made her film debut with Manto, portraying legendary singer Noor Jehan, and then appeared in Lahore Se Aagey. She achieved international acclaim with the Bollywood hit Hindi Medium opposite Irrfan Khan.
She also hosted the satirical comedy Hum Sab Umeed Se Hain from 2009 to 2015, becoming a household name.
Saba is the recipient of several major accolades, including two Lux Style Awards, a Hum Award, three PTV Awards, the Nigar Award, and a Filmfare nomination.
She is a recipient of the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz and the Pride of Performance.
Saba has championed women’s and children’s rights and actively participates in campaigns against child abuse, polio, and for education awareness. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, she launched a YouTube series and raised funds for relief efforts.
