Punjab imposes new service charges on land record

The Punjab government imposed new service charges on the land records for different services with immediate effect, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to details, new fees will be received in all relevant offices and all land record centres.

The fee for an express copy of the *Fard* (record of rights), mutation, and ‘Girdawari’ (crop inspection record) has been set at Rs 4,000, while the fee for a standard copy is Rs 900.

The fee for a Green Property Certificate has been set at Rs 800, a copy of land records at Rs 5,000, and a copy of a registered deed at Rs 1,400.
