List of 330 candidates contesting by-polls in 20 constituencies in Punjab issued

The Election Commission Wednesday released the list of candidates contesting by-elections in 20 provincial constituencies in Punjab.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the EC has issued the list of candidates contesting the by-elections was released under Form 31.

A total of 330 nomination papers were filed in 20 constituencies of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab. 

A total of 25 nomination papers were filed in the Lahore constituency PP-158, 32 in PP-167, 19 in PP-168, and 19 in PP-170.

14 candidates filed nomination papers in the PP-7 constituency of Rawalpindi, 11 candidates in the PP-83 constituency of Khushab, and 15 candidates in the PP-90 constituency of Bhakkar.

18 candidates filed nomination papers in the PP-97 constituency of Faisalabad, 14 candidates in the PP-127 constituency of Jhang, and 12 candidates in the PP-127 constituency.

28 candidates filed nomination papers in the PP-140 constituency of Sheikhupura, 13 candidates in the PP-202 constituency of Sahiwal, and 16 candidates in the PP-217 constituency of Multan.

15 nomination papers in PP-224 constituency of Lodhran, 9 in PP-228 constituency, and 10 nomination papers in PP-237 constituency of Bahawalpur.

In Muzaffargarh constituency PP-272, a total of 14 candidates, and in PP-273, 13 candidates submitted nomination papers.

17 candidates in PP-282 of Layyah district and 9 candidates in PP-288 of Dera Ghazi Khan have filed nomination papers.
