Chinese Consul General Yang Yundong bids farewell to Karachi

Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Karachi Liaison Office, Muhammad Irfan Soomro, visited the Chinese Consulate in Karachi and held a farewell meeting with the outgoing Chinese Consul General Yang Yundong.

During the meeting, Soomro presented a bouquet to the Consul General and paid tribute to his services. He also conveyed his best wishes for Yang Yundong’s future endeavors and continued success.

Speaking on the occasion, Soomro said the friendship between Pakistan and China has emerged stronger through every challenge. He described China as a trusted friend and important partner of Pakistan, adding that Yang Yundong’s contribution to strengthening bilateral relations would always be remembered.

He stated that Pakistan highly values its brotherly ties with China and that the relationship between the two countries is based on mutual respect, trust and shared interests.

Outgoing Chinese Consul General Yang Yundong also participated in the farewell meeting held at the Chinese Consulate in Karachi.
